The Sonoma Organic Difference: Unlike many other BSFL and mealworm companies we have a single source where all of our product is produced and manufactured, right here in the USA. Other companies use overseas sources where the items fed to the grubs can vary vastly. Studies have shown that grubs coming from overseas contain high levels of heavy metals including arsenic and lead - NOT what you want your pets and livestock to eat! 
 
Our drying Process: We only use an oven pop method which ensured we keep as many nutrients as possible in our grubs.  The result is a nutty smelling crunchy snack that pets go crazy for.  Other brands take a shortcut and microwave their grubs which results in a crumbly texture.
