Unmilled frass comes in a more compact, 'chunkier' appearance with visible larvae and chitin in the end product. Unmilled frass is far cheaper because of lower labor intensity, and is essentially "raw" frass. The outcomes are the same, although physically applying unmilled frass may require a bit more effort to "break up" the chunks of frass, as opposed to applying a powder like milled frass. Same nutrients, same chitin properties. Just less expensive to produce, and we pass that savings on to you!
